GINATAANG MANOK À LA Chicken Bicol Express │ Gulay na Lada
Try my version of Chicken Bicol Express, Gulay na Lada
With Sitaw at Sigarillas (String Beans and Winged Beans) and of course a lot of Chilies.
The chicken is cut bone-in Adobo Cut
Ingredients:
1 kilo chicken, adobo cut
2 small packs Coco Mama coconut milk/cream
2 small bundles string beans, cut into 2” lengths
2 small bundles winged beans, cut diagonally
1 bunch green long chilies, cut into slices
3-4 red chilies, chopped
1 head garlic, chopped
2-3 medium size onions, chopped
2-3 thumb size ginger, cut into thin strips
1/2 tbsp. whole black peppercorns
2-3 bay leaves
1 lemongrass, crushed, tie into a knot
1/3 cup fish sauce
2-3 tbsp. cooked bagoong alamang
salt and sugar to taste
