Canned Meatloaf Burger with Mushroom Sauce, Budget Meal

Canned Meatloaf Burger with Mushroom Sauce, Budget Meal

Canned Meatloaf Burger Patty

I was curious of the idea that canned meatloaf can be made into burger patty.

I have seen several video using canned Argentina Meatloaf to make burger but the resultant fatties looks more of a maruya than a burger.

Initially I was planning to use the Maling Canned Meatloaf, but I thought this burger should be a super budget meal, so I ended using the Argentina Canned Meatloaf.

I am not expecting that this burger will taste as a real meat burger or will smell as “Langhap Sarap” for the reason that canned meatloafs are full of preservatives and nitrates, which usually overwhelmed the supposed beef or meat flavors as per product descriptions.

I do not think canned meatloafs contained substantial amount real meat, especially the very cheap brands, most likely it may not even contain any meat at all.

However for those who have come to love canned meatloafs, this is an alternative cooking method if you are looking for one.

Canned Meatloafs are already very salty, therefore salt or fish sauce is not required.

However I have to use, meat flavoring cubes, chicken or beef cubes whatever available, this is to try to add some meat flavor to the canned meatloaf.

In addition I also used some oyster sauce to try to improve the flavors.

For the Mushroom Sauce I just used the Cream of Mushroom Soup Mix.

This is easier method to make Mushroom Sauce instead of the more laborious, “start from scratch” way.
