Betty’s Special Native Cakes

Betty’s Special Native Cakes
Betty’s Special Native Cakes. I am a fan of Kakanin, I do occasionally buy Kakanin at Public Markets whenever I do my “pamamalenke”. The best and the cheapest Kakanin and other Native Delicacies are found in Public Markets. Ok what is the connection of “Palenke Kakanin” on our post for today?  Nothing, it is just to make a point of my love of Kakanin. I have been constantly on the lookout for special kakanin, and today I would like to share my latest Kakanin Food Find.

Betty’s Special Native Cakes Outlet

Betty's Special Native Cakes is a popular Native Delicacy Store in Tarlac, with branches or kiosk located at Shopping Malls as far as Clark up north and Bulacan down south. I have been hearing and reading about how good their Rice Cakes, specifically their Duman Rice Cake and Capit Roll. Duman is actually Pinipig in Pampanga, hence Duman Rice Cake is made up of Pinipig (I just can’t understand why it is purple). Capit Roll is actually a rice cake in a roll the “latik” topping this time is stuffed inside the rice cake roll. Capit Roll is almost similar to the Suman Moron of the Visayas and Mindanao.

Native Cakes

Betty's Special Native Cakes offers almost all the Pinoy Kakanin that you could think off aside from the must buy Duman and Capit Roll, they to also have Capit, Sapin-sapin, Maja Blanca, Cassava Cake, Kalamay Gabi, Kalamay Ube, Bibingkang Kanin etc.

If for a change you are traveling to visit Tarlac’s famous land mark the Monasterio de Tarlac, make a quick stop over at SM Tarlac, Betty’s Special Native Cakes have a store there located at the food court or visit their restaurant along Zamora Street, San Roque, Tarlac.

Monasterio de Tarlac

If Orient Original Buko Pie is a must when you visit Laguna, when in Tarlac, Betty's Native Cakes is a must visit if you love Kakanin.
