Ihaw Ihaw at Soderno @ Molito Lifestyle Center, Alabang. Some of the readers may already know about Mercato at Bonifacio Global City, now from the same organiser they put up a similar night market in the South, in Alabang to be specific called Soderno at Molito. The place is not new Soderno at Molito have been around for almost 8 months now. In fact the hype has now slow down, I have visited the place regularly on weekends when I was in Manila, I happen to reside in the South. During my several visits, it was evident that there were not many food choice, I have not seen those food kiosk and night market vendors that were featured by food bloggers and lifestyle bloggers when Soderno at Molito was starting, perhaps there was no promotional even during my visits. Don’t get me wrong I just want to inform those who are planning to go there in the near future, I would suggest plan your visit only if there is an event going on. Not unless you are looking for a street food style ihaw ihaw which was the main attraction as per my own observation. The truth is I have been going there for my ihaw ihaw fix, I assumed that the ihaw ihaw foods at Soderno at Molito should be more hygienic compared to ihaw ihaw on the streets of Alabang or any other similar places. There are two vendors that sell ihaw ihaw during my several visit at Soderno. Both offer the same ihaw ihaw you can find on Metro Manila's street vendors. The usual red coloring on the meat and innards is also evident, the familiar jar of vinegar and sweet sauce dip for the ihaw ihaw was also available. The ihaw ihaw are also grilled on an improvised ihawan or charcoal griller, the only difference that I could think of is the larger servings, there are more meat on every BBQ sticks and of course it cost more. Fried street food are also available.

There are some foods that are on offer if you are not into street style ihaw ihaw. There are kiosks that sell grilled burgers, pastas, pizzas, cakes, rice, fried chicken and even steaks. To quench your thirst sa-malamig style drinks are available beside the usual bottled water or fruit juices and softdrinks.

Lastly I want to make it clear that this post is not a paid post or I have any relation with the organisers of Soderno at Molito. It just happened that I like the place, I have finally found a hygienic street style ihaw ihaw that I have been missing and it just in our neighbourhood.
