Abuhan Pochero, Cebu Guitars, Skywalk Experience - Cebu Foodtrip Day 2. The second day of our Cebu foodtrip, we started early since we are going to visit attractions outside Cebu. The Crocolandia located in Talisay City, visit a Guitar Factory in Mactan, the Magellan Marker and the Lapu Lapu Shrine in Lapu-Lapu City. Our second day also includes a Mall tour at Cebu’s Ayala Center’s Terraces, Skywalk Experience at Crown Regency Towers, lunch at Abuhan Pochero and dinner at Zubuchon Lechon were listed on the itinerary. It was a long day, our flight back to Manilais was at 9PM via Philippine Airlines.

Before we traveled to Crocolandia we taken the opportunity to have some photo opportunity at the Cebu Heritage Triangle located in the Parian District. The monument depicts Cebu’s rich history.

We arrived at Crocolandia a little early in fact we arrived before they open. Crocolandia is managed by a foundation that promotes wildlife conservation. The first thing that we noticed was the cleanliness of the park, I have been to several similar parks in the Philippines that some or most of them charge far more, Crocolandia I would say is one of the cleanest. The park’s main attraction is Lapu-Lapu a 50years old and 15feet crocodile. There are other small animals, birds and reptiles in the park, they even have a couple of tarsiers and bear cats. They also have a clean reasonably priced restaurant.

Next we had another long travel to Lapu-Lapu City, first stop Alegre Guitar Factory, the place was already crowded with foreign and local tourist alike when we arrived. Alegre Guitar Factory is one of the more popular of the Cebu guitar factories. Guitar making is a home-based livelihood in Mactan.

The Magellan Marker and The Lapu-Lapu Shrine are located on the same park situated at the Northern shorelines of Mactan, at the right side beach approach of the Mactan International Airport runway. The Magellan Marker is said to be the exact location where Lapu-Lapu was killed Magellan.

We had our try on Cebu Pochero, another famous dish of Cebu. Where would be the best place? Abuhan Pochero Restaurant claims to have been serving Pochero and other traditional Cebu food for 30 years. Abuhan Pochero also served sizzling pochero and other traditional foods.

After a very filling traditional Cebu Pochero feast it was time to take a break of all those historic places tours of Bohol and Cebu, We headed to the newest mall in Cebu City at Ayalla Center Cebu, The Terraces.

After buying some souvenirs and Cebu Malling we headed to Crown Regency Towers to try the Skywalk Experience. Crown Regency is the tallest building in Cebu City the place of the First Urban Sky Adventure in the Philippines. They offer variety of sky rides and attractions, skywalk experience and urban zip line. We just settle for the skywalk experience.

That’s culminate our Bohol-Cebu Foodtrip Adventure, there are other places that need to be explored, more food to try but as always we lack time, but off course there will always be another time
