Ingredients:
1 medium size pork loin, thinly sliced into strips
1 large size, broccoli, cut into serving pieces, stem thinly sliced
1 medium size bell pepper, julienne
1 medium onion, coarsely chopped
1 thumb size ginger, peeled, cut into thin strips
2-3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup oyster sauce
1/4 cup cornstarch
salt and pepper
cooking oil
Cooking procedure:
In a big bowl place the pork and mix in the soy sauce and cornstarch, let marinate for at least 15 minutes. Heat wok until it starts to smoke, add in generous amount of oil and stir fry garlic and ginger until aromatic. Remove from wok and keep aside. On same wok strifry broccoli and onion for 2 to 3 minutes, remove from wok and keep aside. On same wok stirfry the marinated pork in batches, add more cooking oil as necessary for 5 to 8 minutes or until it start to render fats. When done with the rest of the pork, return all the stirfried ingredients to the wok. Add in the oyster sauce and bell pepper, stir cook for another 1 to 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.

ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of broccoli but the combination of pork, oyster sauce and soy sauce seems tasty. Will try this one though.

It was looking for something to cook with broccoli and pork, so I tried this one. Marinated the pork with soy sauce and oyster sauce for 20 minuted before sauteeing. I added yellow zucchini at the end. Will do this again!
